Community Outreach

The Community Outreach program seeks to give back to the community who support our school and students. We run several programs, some of which include our neighborhood recycling initiative, teen after-school activity fun and tutoring center, civic involvement initiatives, and our Teens Helping Elders program to name just a few. If you are a community-minded individual, we welcome your participation. Come see us in the Hall B. -
Band

The High School Marching Band carry out a range of activities throughout the year - attended Band Camp to practice playing, marching and sight reading in readiness for upcoming events and competitions. Some of our players recently attended a special Honor Band Camp at a regional university. The Band plays at most of our High School events, and is under the direction of a leading music teacher. -
Student Council

The student council is an important part of the school and its governance. Each year, 9th through 12th graders elect representatives. Additionally, there is a president and vice-president for which any student in the high school can run.
Meetings are held weekly at 3:pm in the blue conference room.

Yearbook

The yearbook committee wants you! If you enjoy taking pictures and generally sticking your nose where you aren't welcome, then you're for us. Volunteer positions are available to cover sporting events, Student Council meetings, fund raising activities, and the Community Outreach program. In exchange, we'll teach you both traditional and digital photo developing, layout and production. -
Chess club

Chess is not just for geeks and nerds anymore, nor is it just chess. The Chess Club meets every Wednesday after school in Hall C to play chess and other mind-expanding board and card games. Our mission is to keep these types of games alive amidst the juggernaut of digital console and personal gaming systems. Slow down the pace and have some laughs with real people for a change.
